In the interview I linked to, Eubank admits that Hearn gave him a deadline to sign. So if he really wanted the fight, then all he had to do was sign before that deadline expired.

If he'd done that, Hearn would have had no reason or, as you would put it, no excuse, to offer the fight to Brook instead. It would have been a done deal, and Jr would have fought GGG, not Kell Brook.

So, if they weren't holding out for more money, why do you think the Eubanks didn't sign that contract?

Hearn is running daddy's business differently, however poppa Hearn doesn't mind the way his son runs it. Hearn and Warren constantly said Eubank's were trash to work with. Warren hates Eddie Hearn even more than he hates Chris Eubank, and Eubank is now trying to do the same thing to Hearn as Hearn did to Warren, which is to take his place as the number 1 promoter in British boxing.

All I'm doing here is sticking to the facts, as we know them.

The facts are that Hearn gave the Eubanks a chance to sign for a fight with GGG, and he even told them there was a deadline to meet. If they'd signed the contract, Kell Brook wouldn't have got the fight. But they didn't sign it, and we know that wasn't because Hearn was trying to low ball them, because Eubank has said the money was more than Jr should be making at this point in his career.

Ward and Lewis are not supporting the Eubanks. They were on that show because ITV hired them to be there, no other reason. Ward looked like he wanted to deck Jr for turning his back on him and acting like he wasn't even there.
