Explain how Wilder avoided any meaningful fights.

Why would any of Wlad's losses bother me in the slightest, he had to take them to become what he eventually became. Something Wilder can only dream of becoming, of this I can almost certainly guarantee, when Wilder eventually unifies he will lose hence why he is so reluctant, I'm not even sure he'll get the far now in honesty once Ortiz is mandated it's curtains.
You want the bottle back, you wanna cry ? I'll send one over as long as you promise not to use it as a butt plug.Comment

This is absolutely spot on.I said this myself that I expected Ortiz to go the WBC route no way if Joshua beats Wlad will Hearn want his two mega stars facing each other so soon, Oftiz going the WBC route monopolises the division for Hearn as Klitschko's monopolised all the belts for an eye on decade this be the real reason Sauerland's and Warren hated dealing with them look at all the talk to do with their negotiations and slave contracts, Hearn becomes the contract king in the event Ortiz faces Wilder.
Ain't no wa Wilder comes through that fight with those skinny little noodle legs, my 14 year old daughter has stronger legs from playing basketball.
Ortiz going the WBC route is the most direct way for Hearn to get a strangehold on the heavyweight division. From a financial standpoint, Joshua-Ortiz in a unification fight down the track, makes a hell of a lot more sense than burning one of his stars in an IBF fight.
Power is money, money is power. All that'll be left for Hearn to conquer is the WBA mess, and the WBO. And they know, given the opportunity, Parker will jump at a unification fight rather than avoid it like Wilder has for so long.Comment

Vlad didn't place the bar too high...he will not be missed and roundly dissed.
Wilder brings excitement to a division Vlad stank-up with his cowardly stab and grab style.Last edited by Kigali; 02-06-2017, 02:48 PM.Comment

Tell you what dude, if Ortiz faces Stiverne then Wilder and adds those wins to his already impressive résumé, is their a better heavyweight out there ? I don't even see the most impressive heavyweight right now Joseph Parker having a résumé as strong with his already superior wins over Joshua and Wilder. This is absolutely spot on.

Dude how can you write that middle sentence and expect anybody to take you serious, honestly !
Didnt set the bar high ? Like seriously WTF ! Te dude unified against every title holder at every opportunity, that's called facing the best, he fought all his mandates, has the record for most wins over undefeated prospects.
How am I to continue debating boxing with somebody like yourself, I come here here for stimulating boxing talk, you offer none of either, you have no knowledge of the game and as far as stimulating goes your anti stimulating in regards to me continuing today, I think I've reached my threshold for suffering fools today, damn I just felt like I was coming into the day.
Can we refrain from contact in the future you really give me a negative opinion of this place and I really enjoy frequenting the site and discussing boxing with some genuine fans I hold in hi regard, sadly I am unable to say the same for yourself.Comment

If/when Ortiz walks through Stiverne & Wilder, I absolutely think he'll have the best resume in the division, and he'd deserve to be the #1 HW in the eyes of impartial fans.Tell you what dude, if Ortiz faces Stiverne then Wilder and adds those wins to his already impressive résumé, is their a better heavyweight out there ? I don't even see the most impressive heavyweight right now Joseph Parker having a résumé as strong with his already superior wins over Joshua and Wilder.
He screwed up royally when he got busted got PED's - that gave people who wanted to avoid him, an out. But he's paid the price and suffered through those consequences - now, there's nowhere for Wilder to hide.
Should Ortiz end up with the WBC belt, I can see negotiations with Parker for a unification being hastily arranged - Ortiz doesn't have a whole lot of time on his side, and Parker should be pretty easy to get in the ring, he fears no one.
Worst case scenario for Hearn - Klitchko wins, and Ortiz falls at some point during the Stiverne-Wilder-Parker gauntlet. Best case, he is promoting a unification between Joshua-Ortiz for 3 out of 4 belts.
Heavyweight boxing is becoming exciting again.Comment
