The WBC put out a press release about a week ago with names of people who hadn't signed on to the drug testing program yet.

Luis Ortiz was one of the names.

It's possible his paperwork was still being processed but as of that date he very likely had not done any VADA testing if his sign up wasn't complete.

Interesting. He says in here he signed up last year, which is odd if VADA are saying he isnt signed up.

Why would any of Wlad's losses bother me in the slightest, he had to take them to become what he eventually became. Something Wilder can only dream of becoming, of this I can almost certainly guarantee, when Wilder eventually unifies he will lose hence why he is so reluctant, I'm not even sure he'll get the far now in honesty once Ortiz is mandated it's curtains.

I said this myself that I expected Ortiz to go the WBC route no way if Joshua beats Wlad will Hearn want his two mega stars facing each other so soon, Oftiz going the WBC route monopolises the division for Hearn as Klitschko's monopolised all the belts for an eye on decade this be the real reason Sauerland's and Warren hated dealing with them look at all the talk to do with their negotiations and slave contracts, Hearn becomes the contract king in the event Ortiz faces Wilder.

Ortiz going the WBC route is the most direct way for Hearn to get a strangehold on the heavyweight division. From a financial standpoint, Joshua-Ortiz in a unification fight down the track, makes a hell of a lot more sense than burning one of his stars in an IBF fight.

If/when Ortiz walks through Stiverne & Wilder, I absolutely think he'll have the best resume in the division, and he'd deserve to be the #1 HW in the eyes of impartial fans.

He screwed up royally when he got busted got PED's - that gave people who wanted to avoid him, an out. But he's paid the price and suffered through those consequences - now, there's nowhere for Wilder to hide.

Should Ortiz end up with the WBC belt, I can see negotiations with Parker for a unification being hastily arranged - Ortiz doesn't have a whole lot of time on his side, and Parker should be pretty easy to get in the ring, he fears no one.

Worst case scenario for Hearn - Klitchko wins, and Ortiz falls at some point during the Stiverne-Wilder-Parker gauntlet. Best case, he is promoting a unification between Joshua-Ortiz for 3 out of 4 belts.

Heavyweight boxing is becoming exciting again.
