That's how the rankings work buddy. If you're not currently ranked and you apply they rank you accordingly, why should Ortiz not be benefited a lofty ranking ? After his doping charge he's paid his dues with hard work and an ethic which has brought him victories over Jennings (never previously stopped), Thompson (never been stopped by anyone not named Wladimir Klitschko) and who else ? He's been on a tear, his ranking should reflect that regardless of whether concerned fan boys are worried the guy who ain't fought a single mandatory in 26 months upon picking up his belt when he had an immediate mandatory owing !

Expect Wilder to line up another optional defence before the Ortiz vs Stiverne winner is mandated thus delaying the process even further and allowing one more lucrative defence in Alabama. Dude likes squeezing in those million dollar paydays against absolutely dire opposition.

Maybe an Ortiz victory will in turn force Wilder's hand to unify in his desperate attempts to avoid fighting his first ever mandatory, dude must be close to holding the record for most time passed for never facing a mandatory, I know Adonis Stevenson holds the the most recent record though, in fact as that guy ever fought a mandatory too ?

The WBC didn't rank Ortiz because he was interim WBA world champion. Ortiz vacated the title and asked the WBC to rank him, so they did. What's the big deal?

Ortiz will i think go the wilder fight because he has been on a mission to get noodle legs wilder in the ring and finish him...its looking bad for wilder
I said this myself that I expected Ortiz to go the WBC route no way if Joshua beats Wlad will Hearn want his two mega stars facing each other so soon, Oftiz going the WBC route monopolises the division for Hearn as Klitschko's monopolised all the belts for an eye on decade this be the real reason Sauerland's and Warren hated dealing with them look at all the talk to do with their negotiations and slave contracts, Hearn becomes the contract king in the event Ortiz faces Wilder.

Ain't no wa Wilder comes through that fight with those skinny little noodle legs, my 14 year old daughter has stronger legs from playing basketball.

I can get along with anyone, we're obviously gonna clash regarding Klitschko though that's a given. I dont hold grudges on this forum, it's all good fun. Truce.

Both Stiverne and Ortiz have tested positive.

Yet the WBC wants them in an eliminator to fight Wilder?

Ortiz won't have to force Wilder's hand...i'm sure he'd love to give that old man a Baptism.

He's not avoiding these guys you hateful troll.

The WBC put out a press release about a week ago with names of people who hadn't signed on to the drug testing program yet.

Luis Ortiz was one of the names.

It's possible his paperwork was still being processed but as of that date he very likely had not done any VADA testing if his sign up wasn't complete.

Are you aware Wlad unified at every opportunity he got ? Wilder has avoided any meaningful fight any opportunity he has got.

Truth hurts, read it and weep.
