Golovkin was trying to make fights with Chavez and Froch at 168. People kept asking about Ward fighting Golovkin. Golovkins team said 164 for Ward. Ward sends an offer, they turn it down flat, no attempt to negotiate or anything.

Did the "offer" include a 164 catchweight? Just like ggg sent an offer to ward before and he rejected it...clear duck? One side latches onto to one alleged offer, the other side latches onto another...you're all exactly the same.

Football is on the decline. Ratings are down this year. FIFA is outselling Madden in the video game genre in the U.S. Football is a U.S. sport. Basketball, boxing, soccer, hockey and to some extent baseball (Asia) are global sports. They're going to have trouble attracting new fans. Demographics in the U.S. are changing but the demographics in football aren't. It's still a white and black sport. The NBA has stars from all over the world. People hate to admit it but they root for people who look like them. Especially in individual sports like boxing, tennis, golf, because you can't root for a team color so you root for your color.

Tbh I don't even think it's JUST about the concussions. That good ol' commish of theirs is ruining the sport. He has taken all the fun away such as the more obvious one... celebrations.

Hell yea he is. Pete Rozelle built that league and Paul Tagliabue gave it to Goddell in good shape. Goddell has destroyed the league. I swear the past two years I've probably watched a total of 4 full games. I'm bored with football. College is a much better game anyway

Golovkin tried to fight Ward in 2013 but Ward said he needed surgery on the shoulder and had legal issues.

2013 Golovkin was a nobody. No reason, what do you mean no reason? Ward would have been his biggest fight, a legacy fight, an HOF fighter. B....b...but no reason.
