Every legit media outlet, boxing journalist and writer made it clear that Ward is lying about the GGG situation. GGG never ever ducked the fight, GGG was ready to fight and Ward was not. That hoax offer half an hour after GGG announced his PPV and future plans with WBC mandatory was just a publicity stunt to fool some of the ******ed people and GGG haters out there. Golovkin asked for 164 for Ward while pursuing fights at 168 and turned down an offer in 5 mins and didn't want to negotiate. These are facts.

Very if he thought he would win, a win over Ward would no doubt have furthered his career and popularity. But we all know they weren't confident Golovkin would win, which is why he ducked Ward.

I don't see how a Ward fight even helps GGG all that much at the time. GGG was in the mix at 160 with the Lemiuex fight for another title in discussion & Ward was out of the ring for however long & is a guy who's skill far exceeds his popularity & drawing ability anyway except in literally his own backyard so does 50/50 really mean anything? It was a lose lose situation for GGG. If he beats Ward he beat a guy who hadn't fought in damn near 2 years or whatever. If he loses he loses to some guy who hadn't even been boxing as of late. Plus its at a higher weight where GGG is unproven.

People love to get all excited by words people say & fair enough if you say silly sh^t like GGG's people often do (for full disclosure I think Abel says some of the dumbest **** of any trainer outside of Roach & I believe Roach is doing some Floyd impression & know what he's doing & trying to drum up attention more then just being nuts like I suspect Abel is) then you got some karma coming your way sooner or later, but I don't see how GGG best move (win or lose vs Ward, for full disclosure I think Ward beats him, but thats not really even the important part unless you are a GGG fanboy or GGG hater) wasn't to stay at 160 to try to entice Canelo in perhaps the biggest fight in the sport to make post-Floyd & Manny. And looking at the situation logically I don't see how GGG beating Ward doesn't further spook Oscar from wanting Canelo to fight GGG or give Oscar an out if Ward beats GGG. There was nothing to be gained for GGG only risk in fighting Ward. And sometimes you gotta look at the greater good for you in your moves & not just go off of emotion.

Golovkin tried to fight Ward in 2013 but Ward said he needed surgery on the shoulder and had legal issues.

"Hey, Ward, wake up! Why are you talking trash about other people? Speak for yourself. If you're trying to make a name for yourself by mentioning me to build up your own fight, then be a man about it and tell the truth. At our meeting with HBO they asked us whether we are ready to box. You know our answers - I said yes, you said no. You said something about your shoulder or promoter - I'm not interested in the reason, I only heard your "no." But you remember that HBO said then that they would need a long time to build-up the fight. Then what the **** are you talking about excuses?"

Demographics in the U.S. are changing but the demographics in football aren't. It's still a white and black sport. The NBA has stars from all over the world. People hate to admit it but they root for people who look like them. Especially in individual sports like boxing, tennis, golf, because you can't root for a team color so you root for your color.

In general theory yes you're correct. Much of this comes with personal experiences from the city you grew up in, urban vs rural. New Yorkers have the most ******* point of view and the highest in mixed racial relationships. I don't understand why Thomas Hauser or Dan Rafael hate Floyd...perhaps they never liked general chocolate, only particular chocolate. I mean Fat Dan has been known to eat chocolate boxes too.

However, I root for any color. The IRONY, is that most people around the world - except for the UK perhaps - don't realize that USA based urban communities have liking for people of mixed races. Again, experience. When people around the world and see Trump rallies or recent protests, there's a direct distinction of united mixed people against a particular Tyranny. Some nations don'T understand American History and racial divide because those countries don't have melting pot culture.

But what I'm really trying to say is I wish Michael Montero or Thunderdome Boxing would be tied up in Eubank Sr.'s Truck and forced to watch him **** some nice young vanilla teens while he smiles back at them singning Frank Sinatra!
