Yep agreed with Larry here, this is one of the reason doubt or haters still respect Mayweather. Hopefully it's just negotiating like some people already pointed out.

      Everyone needs to relax.

I hate it when everyone on here overreacts to non-actions. It happens all the time, gets tiresome. Just wait for things to pan out and then we can discuss the FACTS not assumptions.

The big problem here is that the fight did so poorly financially, how do they pay the fighters for the rematch? That is the big hurdle to get over to make this fight.

Ward isn't a coward. He's just the type of dude who seeks every advantage and will negotiate over a penny.

Hell, he sat out 2 years of his career when he probably could have just settled for a reasonable amount.

But its really distasteful here when he should be burning to avenge the giftory

Here are the facts written in boxing stone:

''I know what I need to do next to win...'' - Kova
          ''Everybody saw..they know I won...'' - Kova

''I did what I needed to do to win.'' - Ward
''It was a close fight, but no way a robbery.'' -Ward
''I asked for the fight, not him.'' - Ward

          ''Kovalev was robbed.'' - Fans
''Kovalev won almost all the rounds.'' - Fans
''Ward moved up to fight the #1.'' - Fans
''The Knockdown alone gave him the edge.'' - Fans

Boxing will always be revisited. Even if Ward retires he's got nothing to prove. If there was no doubt then the Boone vs Kova rematch wouldn't have ever happened. What was the point for a Pascal II rematch?

Either super slow motion or fast motion. Kova never knocked down a dude on a menacing right where the challenger just stood up, smiled, and told the ref he's good to go. That shıt is legendary. USA all day babY!

No need for this post whatsoever, Dre is just letting Krusher know who holds all the cards and this fight don't go ahead unless he's completely happy.

The fight has to be as rewarding as the first fight as it was clearly a gruelling encounter I'd say draining but the only one looking flat and drained was Kovalev wen he mentally folded down the stretch unable to overcome his usual weak minded opponents who had no answer for his power nor the will to take the fight back to him.

Kovalev learnt a tough lesson that night, he learnt their are men his equal and tougher who do not necessarily hit as hard at his weight class. The bully got bullied.

The worst part about the retirement talk for me, is how he throws in the stuff about the rematch being much easier for him...like there's no real point of even having a rematch or something.

I dont see that logic I see it as giving Kovalev more leverage, Offer them less money now who cares either ward accepts it or tarnish his legacy forever.
