I see a lot of insecurities on here, Spence definitely has some hype surrounding him on here at the moment, but that's due to his upcoming fight with Brook, a fight a lot of people wanted to see him finally get tested by another good fighter.

The Errol spence hypocrisy...GGG

I believe teddy's reasoning was that he's seen slippage in ggg...which i agree with. P4p is about who looks the hardest to beat at any given time...resume is not supposed to factor in, it's only a tool to compare how good fighters looked against a similar level of opposition. I still believe ggg is a better p4p fighter than spence tho.

No one is saying Spence is the GOAT.
But, I for one cannot ignore that he stopped a guy Pac, Khan, and Provo failed to.
Algieri's only KO loss.
I can't ignore that he stopped a guy Thurman couldn't.
Bundu's only KO loss.
Does he have more to prove? Absolutely!
But, right now, he is passing the eye test with flying colors.
He might not be on your P4P list (he has been on mine for months) but he certainly deserves to be in the discussion whatever your take is.

Spence though?
When Floyd and Pac were at their peak, we compared them to greats like Leonard, Robinson and Armstrong. We wanted them to reach the amazing feats of the all time greats. Even Ward gets compared to guys like Hopkins and Roy Jones. Klitchko to Tyson, Frazier , Holyfield and Foreman.
But GGG gets compared to Errol Spence? Really? This is the standard you set for this unified middleweight champion?
It's like GGGs "critics" have higher expectations for him than his "fans"

If they were real fans, they'd would have wanted more from him.
Had he actually followed thru with "anyone from 154 to 168"- even had he lost some close decisions- I think we would be seeing him a lot closer to greats like Hagler and Monzon than he is currently.

Spence fans on here aren't saying that Errol is P4P #1 or an all-time great like the Golovtards do with GGG. So there is no equivalency.
