Tyson couldn't get in because of the nature of his crime & he didn't go through with the proper legal process to gain access to NZLD. Plenty of bands can't get over the Canadian border. The band Inqusition couldn't open for Mayhem because they couldn't get over the border. I can't go to the US until I get a pardon or a travel waiver but I have to go through a long legal process & pay fees which I have refused to at this point. No different anywhere else.
You really believe immigration will waiver Fury's father and trainer to enter the country to their benefit against the darling of the country right now ? .... I'll let you hold that thought.

You make a point there but if he has already done the legal activity then I don't see why not. I'm assuming if there was any issues Frank Warren would have been on top of it awhile ago. Hughie has fought in several countries including Canada where they won't let you get a work visa with a DUI. If you have the proper paper work completed then it is possible. I'm assuming it is no different in NZLD. It is a commonwealth country isn't it?

Depends if he served over a year within the last 15 years, to my knowledge that's when he was selling class A drugs and gun running. This you will have to research yourself as I'm not searching for links for anyone on this site anymore, I feel I'm a respected member and my reputation precedes me.

Don't you think if Duco will be able to get all the money?

It makes me consider that they had problems to organize the Ruiz fight, and they even were asking for public funding. And at this time, they offered 3M$. I know they have Arum's backing, but he is there to make money.

Yeah I was surprised they found the amount for such a high bid. I was wondering if Arum would somehow work it into the Pac-Horn broadcast, but like you say he's there to make money and not like this adds to the PPV buyrate or attendance.

Duco are as rich or richer than most US or UK promoters. It's bizarre that people think otherwise.

Sure, NZ is a small market but remember they sell tv rights globally. That means plenty of profit.

At least Fury will get well paid for taking a nap.

I think its also that sneaky wizard lurking around that funds them , we all know he enhanced Mayweather for Pacman and he has unlimited money to beat out everyone. The only thing he hasnt been able to do is get over the Hungry Jack lable of all the franchises in Australia . Even being a magic King cant beat out some legal stipulations .

Maybe if they add it to the Pac - Horn card, they could make a PPV event?

I don't consider the Pac - Horn fight a PPV event by itself.
