I see training camp being 70% cutting weight, 15% stamina/throwing combos
    10% footwork
5% getting him to focus on training and not pigging out

Jr is a huge guy and punches harder than Cotto and Lara who marked Canela's face up!

This will be Cotto vs Margarito 2.0, Canela will gas cuz he'll have to move on his feet more than he likes and throw more punches than he usually does to keep Gordito off him!

He's faster with hand but slow feet!
Lara and Cotto couldn't even tickle Canelo, ginger was shrugging off the punches of those sissies who spent the whole night running

Kirkland is the hardest puncher at LMW, Canelo went toe to toe with him and blasted him out. Chavez is a chump and he's done at the elite level, he couldn't even KO Brian Vera in two tries, and he'll be most likely weaker than ever for this fight. Canelo is levels above Chavez in skill and he's gonna wreck the marihuano

You might be right. I think Canelo has improved his skills and stamina. I would tend to agree with you, but I think there are too many distractions and temptations for jr. to handle in Mexico City. Better that he train in the Alps or in Siberia where where there are fewer distractions.

It's weird that a weight like 164.5 will still be difficult for him to make lol

But if he comes in strong at the weight, I can see him stopping Canelo. The gingernut isnt hard to find and hit and Chavez packs a wallop. Plus the size differential is huge. 6 inches in height, 3 inches in reach.

Canelo should have fought GGG, he would lose that one too but at least he would not suffer the humiliation of losing ta b+ player.

Canelo is the more skilled boxer and knowing this, I think his game plan will be that of mayweather against himself when mayweather gave him that boxing lesson while Canelo had to go to 152 for that fight. He knows just where jr will be at physically and knowing he is the better boxer, all Canelo has to do is outbox Jr. and make jr the one to take risks and put the pressure on him, I see Canelo outboxing Jr. Early on while conserving his energy, once jr gasses out, Canelo can keep outboxing him or go in for the kill depends on his energy level. Jr on the other hand, had to fight like he did vs lee or that last 90 seconds in round 12 of Martinez. If he does this he may have a chance, but will jr have the stamina to do this? Big if, and even so, Canelo can always counter him... Lots of things to look for in this one fellas

The fact ganja boy is still looking for trainers and talking about ¨i'll do this and this¨ instead of doing it, is a clear indicator that he's not totally focused on this fight.

Chavez will dissapoint again, he's got this self-destructive personality. Even blessed with some natural talent, the name, the popularIty and the influence to get a great career, he'll find a way to wreck it all up

It´s just a misunderstanding, what Jr meant was he´ll prepare by eating Muchos Nachos.

He probably meant to say Nachos and dip will be used at camp

"Chávez Jr. wants to hold his training camp at the Otomí Ceremonial Center in Mexico"

I'm beginning to think he's gonna blow his last shot...
