Atlas is almost definitely exaggerating. What probably happened is that, like any rational person who follows boxing, they were incredulous that Golovkin was not on his list and wanted him to explain why. Atlas's list is not one a fair, knowledgeable boxing fan would make.

If you don't have Golovkin on your list, damn straight I'm going to question your boxing knowledge.

If you feel that way, fine. I just think the responses from his colleagues was way too over the top and personal. They seemed to get offended and ask for an explanation, the same way people on NSB do whenever GGG is not celebrated.
