HBO don't back promoters in purse bids. They would have paid a fee to screen the fight and that would have been part of the deal that Duva wanted to put to Yvon Michel. But he insisted on an immediate purse bid without any negotiations.

Hope this fight happens. Barrera made a fan out of me taking on Shabransky and disposing of him the way he did (as well as fighting Ward). I will be pulling from him in this fight. I think he has a tough matchup but if he withstands Beterbiev's early heat I think can will pull it out in mid to late rounds.
