I haven't but I've heard his name thrown about on podcast and stuff...wilder is coming off a broken hand and some inactivity so I don't really care who his opponent is for this fight but he needs to get in gear and fight one or two of Parker,Joshua,Klit,Ortiz this year...

Not wilders fault that when he gets in "gear" to step up, his opponents do too, just ask pedvetkin!

Wilder nor his team has made any pretense that this fight was a hard fight. It is only for the purposes of testing his hand and his arm. It was stated right after he was cleared to fight. I can understand that but anything can happen. After this fight, I expect him to push hard for the Parker fight or the winner of AJ vs Wlad.

Top 10 WBC opponent, undefeated fighter who is the same size as Wlad and Joshua.

Sounds like a good opponent to battle in preparation for unification.

according to nsb, wilder should test his hand and arm with a top 5 rated opponent, nevermind that pedvetkin was caught doping,

This is a huge fight for Wilder to survive without a reoccurring hand problem.
This can be a career ending fight if his hand breaks again!
The guy he's fighting was a very good football player who was unable to progress because of chronic injuries. He is a late bloomer in boxing but a good athlete and a big man. (6'6" 245lbs)

If Wilder sustains another hand injury I can see him doing a repair then going after the biggest money fight which would be in Vegas against Joshua or if Wlad can win. He may go after the winner if he's healthy after the bout but it makes more sense to get Parker first! Then let the build up begin against the other champ.

Hopefully his surgery is 100% successful!
