Geez man, it's not like people are popping champagne bottles, just saying Washington is a pretty solid fight for a guy coming off a serious injury. What's wrong with that? Plus the other contenders are busy at the moment..

I didn't know that anyone was happy about it. I think it sucks but being that he's coming off some pretty serious injuries, I'm not going to trash the guy. If he doesn't take a decent fight this summer, then he should catch hell for it.

This whole episode is sad for boxing and Wilder in general, he really need a good fighter across the ring from him, I would give him a pass at the moment because the Povetkin fight was NOT his fault. But he really needs to get a big fight this year. Hopefully he comes back well from his injury and he can have him back in the mix.
