With Mikey's length and power, he isn't gonna be able to come in and do what he's been doing to these other guys. Lomachenko's power is average at best and most likely lesser at 135 then you also add the factor that Garcia is bigger as well.
Like I said in the other thread and how the saying goes, a great small man beats a big man. But a great big man beats a great small man.

Lomochenko best win is over the TBA king Gary Russell who never was tested before the lomo fight. You can't really count the Walters fight because Walters looked like he just showed up for a paycheck because his rent was due. Bob Arum will give us the same old excuse "we gave Garcia the contract but HBO doesn't want the fight" crap.
Lomochenko legacy......beating old faded and inactive fighters who are desperate for a paycheck.

Garcia is far and above anything Loma has faced, Lomachenko is the better boxer but Garcia boxes well enough to catch him and when he does, with his type of power, it could change the fight. Not to mention Garcia is the bigger man.

Mikey Garcia will batter Loma. Mikey has always been good and now is back with something to prove. I believe Loma is awesome, but Mikey has the tools to neutralize Loma's movements.

Mikey pulled a Floyd. Deliberately leaving the staple with the difficult fights (Gamboa, Lomachenko) to go to a staple with no big fights on the horizon. A real champ would have fulfilled the last couple fights on the TR contract against Gamboa and Lomachenko, beaten them, then became a free agent as a star with two big wins and gone to the highest bidder. Instead he left without taking the big fights, and now we're three years later and he still hasn't fought a single top opponent.
I mean, can that be anything but deliberate? Let me guess I bet they need a tune-up fight next after their "difficult" fight against Zlaticinin where Mikey barely even got hit.
One fight that would have been nice to see just for fun would have been Mikey vs Matthysse at 140, but Matthysse is moving up and his eye keeps letting him down in big fights anyway.
Who else is at 140 though? The only good fights are Mikey vs Crawford and Mikey vs Pacquiao.
Maybe Postol? Mikey isn't fast or long like Crawford so Postol would be able to put in a better performance until the point he gets caught and KO'd. Not too excited about that fight either but it beats the crap we've gotten from Mikey since his career started. Like literally name one decent fight this dude has been in his whole career. Or one decent opponent. I can't think of any. Zero. Nada. It's such a waste of talent because Mikey is clearly gifted.

Would be interesting if Mikey is amenable to fighting Postol at 140. Be the smaller guy this time around. Postol is available and has no contractual obligations with Top Rank, thus he can fight anywhere, much like Provodnikov before he signed with Showtime.
