I don't know if it's going to get past the 4th round

Any faith I may have is blindingly optimistic.

I said that it was an exaggeration to say that you saw hundreds of aboriginals lying around drunk after 1 beer

Didnt happen unless you are talking about decades ago

Fact is that alcohol is banned in most aboriginal communities
Yes, yes i did. I have no idea if it was 1 beer or 10, it's been well documented that the Aborigines have a problem consuming Alcohol, and their bodies cannot handle it.

This was on the way up to Darwin, and no it wasnt a decade ago.

Let me guess you're from a East coast city and because YOU havent seen them lying on the floor on the pavement in the dozen's, most of them drunk af....it didnt happen.

      you're an idiot.

Apparently there's a relatively large number of ppl who identify themselves as indigenous these days in the region so hopefully news of extinction was premature.

Of course there is the white washing propaganda whenever possible. Plenty of historians noted the native Tasmanians became extinct in the early 20th Century. Full blooded meaning unmixed. Now days you have all types of apologetic rhetoric, things like Wikipedia stating it is up for debate what caused the Natives to die off. In reality the facts are that they seemed to have a fairly steady, and healthy population until the White man came.

You won't see "hundreds" in the one street, but there is substantial problems with alcohol abuse in the indigenous community, and in some towns it's pretty common to find a group sitting and drinking on the sidewalk or in parks, and yes they are often passed out.

Yes, it's not a common site in a city like Sydney or Melbourne but on the way to Darwin you would have seen plenty of that yes

Really don't see how anything in there is racist....

I think the problem with some of today's society is people feel validated for making a huge problem over small things. But don't do a damn thing about the issues that actually effect people.

An anthem is a freaking song. Change the song today and what happens tomorrow? People are still going hungry. People are still losing jobs. Kids are still getting obese and being diagnosed with diabetes. Changing a song changes NOTHING. People need to stop being attention whores.
Thank you. One of the best comments I have ever read here.
