He will definitely make plenty of money, but unless he becomes a dominant force with minimal tune-ups and continuous top-level wins, he won't become PPV king... Just my thoughts. I don't really care, but Mikey seems like the kind of guy that you want the best for...
You don't have to have any charisma or personality to be PPV star in boxing, you don't even have to speak English. You only have to be Mexican with above average skillset, that's it. Canelo is a good example of this

Oddly, the one that would not be a PPV, Garcia vs. Easter, may be the toughest opponent! Easter is 5'11", and can box! Should be a great year for Mikey Garcia!
why the hell would he fight salido?? he already beat the hell out of salido. he won by TKO. idiot.

he knocked out the guy that schooled loma.

There is tremendous potential in upcoming fights Garcia vs Loma, NOW, GARY RUSSELL JR, CRAWFORD, BRONER, All of these fights would propel mikey to the top of the ppv business, and when he decides to go to WW, even MORE great potential fights to be made. The NEXT ERA HAS STARTED. The Post Mayweather Era

YUP!!! Because sht fans like you are to god damn POOR and Bi@tch all the time! And CASUAL. You wouldn't know boxing if it hit you on the head. Stick to UFC and go watch two guys rub up on each other. You'll like that better. Leave boxing to the REAL fans!

I agree with this, but I would also like to add that Mikey does have charisma. Dude is really likable and very well spoken.

I said it a few years back that this kid could be the next big thing, due to his boxing pedigree (his family name and skillset). He doesn't even have to beat everybody as long as he keeps fighting top competition, he can easily be the next Oscar. Oscar didn't beat that many of his top opponents but he fought them all. A family name and support system goes a long way in this sport; it definitely worked for Mayweather. I think the reason he was able to stay fresh after a long layoff was a result of his family and their boxing wisdom.

Yes he absolutely can, and I think a lot of people already know Mikey through the YTBC, this weirdo Ellie Seckback has like 200k subscribers on youtube and almost all his videos are Vlogs of Robert or Mikey Garcia, they all definitley know who Mikey is, so a couple of great wins like tonight and all the guys who just know him will become either fans or haters and that will boost his popularity, I think a fight against Linares or Easter Jr. would increase his popularity a great deal.

The Garcia's are down to earth, interesting mexicans who are used to having cameras in their faces all the time, once they get their TV time from Showtime they're gonna do very well. All access of a fight against Broner would be awesome considering the history between the camps, and winning that fight (which won't be easy) would make Mikey the star of the sport or maybe number 2 behind Canelo. Mikey Garcia is great for boxing.

I'll withhold judgment until he fights someone his size. We'll see what he does at 140.

Mikey looks like Jigsaw from the Saw movies, don't expect any females buying his PPVs. He isn't mexican either so forget about that country backing him. He didn't win USA a gold medal cus he didn't go. He's a class act and will never use his mouth to draw attention to him. The only way Mikey makes it big time is to grind his way up the way Floyd Mayweather did
