i don't deny he fought hopkins...or that hopkins was good. i'm denying that he won. he looked like an amateur who was swinging at air and running into counters. that's why he was degraded.

I think Brook wont sign for that fight, there's just too much risk and little reward there. Having said that, it's an even 50-50 if they do fight. Kell ain't no joke at 147, porter couldn't shake him off and porter is strong.

If Joshua can pay Charles Martin £6 million, then the pot for a Brook/Spence fight should be decent as well (obviously less considering the star power of AJ & KB). Add in the 75-25 purse split. Brook will likely earn more than what Thurman or Garcia is likely to make in their bout. Brook struggling to make weight is also a factor against him. And Spence is a much better inside fighter than Porter, who clinches while striking the body.

calzaghe won that fight quite comfortably. Landed more shots on hopkins than any other fighter had in there career, including roy jones. Thats how great joe was.

I have no idea how you come to that conclusion. Compubox, which I rarely talk about positively has JC landing over a 100 more punches. I dunno how accurate that is because neither guy seemed to land more than a handful of clean shots per round but there is no doubt JC was busier and controlled the fight in every part of the ring.

As I said at the time of the bout, it was so dirty and ugly both guys should have been deducted points and scored a draw but if you have to pull for a winner in such a fight, it has to be the guy who throws and lands more. Simple, basic boxing.
