You act like Their was a plethora of great fighters, who were all winning and deserving, and Floyd peculiarly picked Marcos for some reason.

When in actuallity, Marcos like ALL of Floyd's other oppoents, was coming off a great standout victory against Broner who was a big name on the rise.

Marcos was simply next up in line.

How was that a cherry pick? Didn't Broner pick Maidana cause people said he wouldn't fight the tough fights? I remember him saying he was gonna let the fans pick cause people said he was cherry picking

they chose chino because he had a name and a decent record but mainly for what happened in the alexander fight. they thought broner could do the same, broner was named to be the heir to floyd's throne at that moment and chino was supposed to be broner's gatti. don't you remember?

I just don't think it's a cherry pick as the fans were the ones who picked the fight for him. I think Matthyssee was first on the list and since that fight couldn't happen Maidana was #2 and that's who he fought. I thought he would beat Chino as well but I didn't think it was a cherry pick, as Maidana is a tough out

The only poll that mattered was the Mayweaher official poll on Mayweaher' own site. He asked teh question, who should I ifght. Khan won at 55% or something. Mayweather then rubbished his own poll and said he would use some other poll on which Maidana had won (EPSN possibly).
