    Katie Taylor's fight on the undercard of Gennady Golovkin versus Daniel Jacobs at Madison Square Garden in New York City is off, according to promoter Eddie Hearn. The Bray Olympic gold medallist was set to fight on the 18th of March at the New York venue, but Hearn told IFL TV that the fight will not now go ahead. According to Hearn, Top Rank president Todd duBoef had issues with Taylor fighting the night following Michael Conlan's professional debut at the same venue. There were concerns raised by duBoef that Taylor fighting the following night would take away some of the shine from Conlan's debut.

              Pretty much. They might be right too. Taylor is better known in Ireland at least. Much better known before Conlan's AIBA rant.

                      Sorry but womans boxing will never be as popular they're just as dedicated that's a given but the interest just isn't there.

                                  He's not the lead promoter on the card, I guess it was etiquette on Loeffer's part.
