Lara would have a bad night against GGG. Alfredo Angulo had success against Lara by simply applying pressure. What Angulo didn't have was GGG's pedigree, size, punching power, durability, Am experience against guys who move, solid jab, body attack, footwork, etc. Even someone like Canelo who can't cut the ring for **** was making Lara throw less and managed to trap him at times. Lara's also not a busy fighter with any authority in his punches to push GGG on the backfoot. Once GGG starts landing power Lara's never felt up to this point he will be in retreat mode and that's GGG's bread and butter, cutting off the ring and giving Lara absolutely 0 real estate to utilize his reach. Even though I'd still pick GGG over Jermall Charlo, that's more of a challenge to GGG where he'd have to worry about size, power and Boxing ability more so than Lara who really isn't a Middleweight.
Why is that a lot of Lara fans say.....

just like on other occasions for the past 3 years, Lara has stated he wants to fight ggg and not every time they had other fights line up, why not after Jacobs?no GGG fan is opposed to this fight, they just stated the obvious about lara, he only talks when he or GGG has a fight signed and when GGG beats him no one here will give him any credit, lara would be another undersized opponent like brook.
me particulary would love to see it, just to see GGG brutally stopped lara and shut him and his manager up once and for all.Comment
