But yeah it was obvious that GBP and TR started a smear campaign against Haymon. TR dropped it after Arum and Haymon settled.

While I agree there are blind sheeps around who can't come to conclusions on their own, there was no smear campaign. Fans, for the most part, can see for themselves the **** that Haymon was putting on TV. We didn't need TR or GBP to tell us how **** those match ups were. Instead of using his money to give us top fights and pay fighters what they deserved, he was giving us **** like Garcia - Salka while Garcia was getting paid well above top dollar for the type of opponent he was facing.

But it doesn't say that. It specifically says Haymon. Just like the Iole article specifically says Haymon. Even if it were part of a wider ban that's still not a good thing. Business is business. Promoters and fighters have switched between Showtime and HBO since they both started carrying boxing. Pacquiao has even fought on Showtime, and Holyfield and Tyson and many others. Why does this guy get a pass? That's the reason he was fired and the reason HBO doesn't have money in their boxing budget. He fucked up. And Floyd didn't even have an HBO contract. He was on a fight by fight basis and he took the Showtime offer to HBO to match and they refused. All that money Showtime made could've been HBO's.
