Yes, but he won't because he's already whining about "lack of motivation". He probably thinks he's earned enough credit being smashed by GGG.
If brook beat spence, would he get much credit?

Great post. I completely agreeOf course he would get credit..
P4P, Possibly. I'd consider a win over Spence to be a really good one. One of the best in the division at that and if Spence can bounce back, it'd look even better down the road.
I think Brook is already a top 3-5 fighter in his weight class. This would bump him up there w/ Manny(idc who he fights, he's still one of the best WWs), Thurman-Garcia winner.
Truth be told, the opposition Spence has fought, is similar to what Brook faced before getting that big fight. It's called progression as a fighter. If Spence fought the champ and lost, then he'd simply lose. But to fight your way to a title shot isn't bad at all.
Why wouldn't he? I don't get downplaying Spence at all. It seems like certains posters who are fans of "x" fighter look to downplay just about every possible opponent, then turn around and ask a question like this.
I think highly of Spence. I think he's one of the best WWs in the game. If he loses to Brook, so be it. I'd at least hope he'd be able to rebound and get back to another title shot. But that's just meComment

Depends on the fight..... If Spence looks out of his depth questions will be asked.
Vernon Paris was supposed to be the next big thing at 140 a couple years ago but when he stepped up against Judah he got found out, it happens.Comment

Two things we know about Spence.
1. He made Broner quit and cry in sparring (that's why Broner said Crawford would be crazy to fight Spence)
2. Mayweather said Spence gave him that "good work" in sparring
These aren't the run of the mill sparring rumors. This is TBE endorsing the skills of this young man after sharing the ring with him.Comment

I know this dude personally. Used to hang out with him. All imma say is his lifestyle didn't reflect that of a world champion fighter
