I'd pick Calzaghe over Ward and Stevenson, but I think Kovalev poses the biggest threat with the straight shots he throws, the volume of them and the power.
Joe Calzaghe in today's LHW division.

Now how did I know you'd say that??
Joey wouldn't even go near Glen Johnson....hell,Sven Ottke fought and BEAT Johnson.Comment

JC was tailor made for RJJ, ridiculous. Couldn't stop right hands from Mitchell, Hopkins, Bika etc. it wouldn't even have been competitive. And to think that there's clowns out there who genuinely think that Joe would have beaten Roy in his prime.
Ha!

When did you predict I'd respond in this exact fashion nostra dumb a55?
Calm down.
I had Johnson ahead in the Ottke fight.
His style is fan friendly and he just about fought everyone
Glen was mentioned as an opponent for Joe on several occasions. I recall an open letter to Joe calling him out, but Joe retired.
It is what it is.Last edited by KeyboardWarrior; 01-19-2017, 06:04 PM.Comment

He beats Ward with more activity in a very dull fight. Split decision with no one wanting to see a rematch.
He gets dropped by Kovalev but adjusts and manages to edge the Russian down the stretch. Split decision W.
He makes Stevenson look like a fool for about eighty percent of the fight, but Adonis manages to knock him down once. Joe's too smooth for the finish, though. Joe by UD.Comment
