    Beat Stevenson and Ward.

Stevenson can punch, Ward can box.

But Kova can box and punch and I think this fight would be fantastic.

(I thought Kova beat Ward and is a class above)

People think he can take a LHW punch haha

20 secs into the Bika fight and he was already stunned/tagged by a clean right hand

Bika landing at will to his body, mauling him on the inside, you can imagine what a guy like Beterbeiv would do to him. Doesn't have the defense or power to defeat a LHW.

Replace Bika's right with Beterbiev's, Kovalev's etc. he'd be out in the 1st round

but he could beat ward by gift decision if he threw enough punches that didn't land since ward doesn't have power

I don't think he'd had fought any of them. But for the benefit of the thread: IF he'd have fought them, I think he'd have beaten Stevenson, but lost against Andre and Sergey.

JC's defense was really bad, his saving grace was distance management, he always lunged in with his left hand low, Bika was landing his right hand over and over against him. It's also the same punch that got him dropped by Hopkins:

Ward's defense is light years ahead of his and even he couldn't avoid a Kovalev right. Replace Hopkin's punch with Kovalev's.

Ward manages distance better, neutralizes the head attack unlike Zags, and creates angles better than him, still had massive trouble against Kovalev, even Barrera gave him a tough fight.

And to think that there's clowns out there who genuinely think that Joe would have beaten Roy in his prime.

                Ha!

i think andre ward could be a favorable matchup for calzaghe. not alot of power and doesnt have a high workrate. joe outworks him for a close decision imo.

stevenson and kovalev would be difficult because of they each have insane power. stevenson is a bit too dependent on his left though, and if joe can avoid it enough he'll get the W. probably tastes the canvas early on but a close decision for joe.

kovalev also has power but he uses both fists and can hurt you with either one. very underated boxer who uses alot of intelligence and distance when picking his shots. i think kov gets the Ko in this one

JC also got dropped BADLY by a right hand against Mitchell:

                    8:30

Mitchell had to come off the canvas 2x his last fight, his chin was glass, it's exactly what saved JC from being finished off.

Yeah, if they were considerably weaker than they are now.
