This all depends on how the said fighter loses.
Let's say Thurman gets stopped with a bodyshot.
Going forward his career would suffer much sooner.

I feel like it would be Garcia. With a loss, it'll be exceptionally easy to say that he's been exposed - a number of people feel he's overrated as it is, and confirmation of that could bury him down the pecking order.

A loss for Thurman will obviously hurt his stock, but the perception that he has a better pedigree to begin with will lessen the blow. Thurman losing will make people think, oh - Garcia is good after all. Garcia losing will have people thinking hey, he does suck after all.

Garcia seems to be on the brink of some massive fights, if he can gain another title at 147!

So yes! Garcia has the most to lose.

I think Thurman has the better rep right now so I'd say he does.
