I'd say Thurman. He's got some real momentum going where as Garcia has been pretty blah for most fans for a long time. If he loses, not much if going to change. If Thurman does though, he won't be looked at in the same way anymore. This is a pivotal fight.

I say that Keith Thurman's career would suffer the most with a loss, because he is not the box office draw that Danny Garcia is. On the other hand, a Garcia loss wouldn't impact his career all that much, because he can easily resume his cherry picking bum of the month tour at a whopping $3 Million a pop.

He wont push spence along fast, but do you bring a good point up about weight, he might need to make a move to get a bug name on his resume now at that weight while he still can, so it's possible Haymon dials it up a bit.

Another factor in how it effects their career will be how a loss effects their mind.

Garcia has pretty much peaked, and proved he's never gonna be a huge PPV headliner. He's already exceeded expectations tenfold.
If Garcia loses, it's what is "expected," and it'll be business as usual. He will still pretty much get guaranteed high six-figure paydays for top-10 opposition.
However, Thurman,is still sort of proving himself, and can turn out to be more of a headliner. He's also the favorite - so him losing, sort of throws a wrench in his plans for future bigger fights, and income generation.
If Thurman wins, he stands more to gain, including financially (and in turn, lose on the flip side).

I honestly think the best thing for both is if the fight is exciting, and close, it could eventually become a trilogy, with the last fight being a PPV.
No matter where they go from there, they always have the "rematch," and possibly the "rubber match" to fall back on as a financial windfall.
