And you haven't a clue what Oscar's "offer" was. Except that it had a date 14 months down the line from the time it was made.

Canelo and Oscar need to shut up about Golovkin till they are ready to fight him NEXT. Actions speak louder than words, and Canelo handing over his belt to Golovkin instead of fighting him makes all Oscar's spiel redundant. Real fans know what's what.

that is absolute rubbish, and you know it.....

Team Golovkin: No Negotiating Weight With Canelo.....
The biggest hurdle in making a fall unification between middleweight champions Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (34-0, 31KOs) and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, 46-1-1, 32KOs) is

they refused to negotiate with Canelo on weight following the Cotto fight, and then again following the Khan fight..... and you know it

pulling stunts like that is why a number of posters call you dishonest

That is true but since Canelo rehydrates to the mid 170s (Some say 180) putting on and extra 10-12 lbs of water in 10 hours will leave him struggling wouldn't it? Compared to Golovikin who rehydrates to 169 - 170 on fight night total.

I'm called dishonest by lying and/or deluded trolls like you, who specialise in building false realities by the selective screening of information.

That's exactly what you are doing right here, posting Tom Loeffler's response to statements by De La Hoya and Eddy Reynoso, without mentioning the statements Tom was responding to:

"When asked about a potential future fight with IBF/WBA/IBO/WBC interim middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (34-0, 31KOs), who is the WBC's mandatory challenger, Reynoso said they are willing to face anyone but only on their terms."

"We are ready to fight anyone at 155 pounds. We are very comfortable at this weight. If he wants to come to this weight we will fight anybody," said Reynoso.

Eddy Reynoso, trainer of Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (46-1-1, 32KOs), was very pleased with his fighter's performance on Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay Events Cen

"If I had my way, if the fight was happening tomorrow, the negotiation would be 90 percent for Canelo and 10 percent for Golovkin, so obviously these negotiations would be complicated"

Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya, who promotes WBC middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, explains why a fight with Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin

So what you are saying is that GGG should have fought Canelo at a handicap (for him) weight of 155, while getting nothing in return by way of a better purse split in recognition of his rights as a mandatory challenger.

Try to be fair about it, ffs!

Like it or not Golovkin is the most talked about fighter on this forum. He's on the top of the food chain at 160. Until he's defeated no one can really have fault with his wins. Not his problem if the only real MW that has the balls to face him is Jacobs. Can't wait for this fight and the discussion here afterwards.

            No !

            what I am saying is.....

despite running around for FOUR YEARS saying that he can "beat anyone from 154-168"..... and despite specifically promising to fight Canelo at 154..... Team Bullshht totally refused to negotiate with Canelo on the weight..... FOR WHATEVER REASON/EXCUSE!!

that is all I said !

and, that is 100% correct and you know it !

does refusing to negotiate with the A-side REALLY sound like you want the fight?

Golovkin has never given a concession to anyone EVER!

so..... the result of HIS decision, is that now Golovkin will have to wait until (the A-side) Canelo, is ready..... and when that fight happens Golovkin, will be facing a fully fledged middleweight

..... did Golovkin - and you - really think that Canelo would simply hand Golovkin an advantage?

Golovkin shat the bed when it came to making that fight..... because, he could have done more to make that fight, but he chose not to

            e.g.
the B-side Chavez was willing to negotiate with Canelo..... otherwise, he would be kicking rocks with Golovkin.

first canelo doesnt need to go above 180, he will be slow, it will be a mistake he is too short to carry that much weight, second ggg weights 170+ on the morning, he does the ibf weighin so he rehydrates more than that when entering the ring....
