    • so you talk **** about DLH but you dont answer my ? , who looked better against him, Tito, i dont ****ing think so, and that shot was closer to his back, it wasn't a regular bodyshot, your kidneys and liver are closer to your back. Very simple question here, who looked better against both Vargas & Hopkins, yeah tito beat vargas but only after a power punch to his nutsack. i dont think he was winning but he looked much better against B-Hop then Tito. I'm gonna let history be the judge on who's better DLH or Tito, but he not the greatest WW, and boy will you be in for a rude awakening if they have a rematch

Ray was great, he won 170+ fights with only 19 loses but how many of us actually got to see his fights one PPV, and live when he lived? I just know that Floyd is here now and his skills speak for them selfs, and as he is tested, we can say what his not, but at the current rate his on i think his got great potential to be!
He might have had 19 losses but about 15 of them came when he was well past his prime!!

And lost none as welterweight. In one loss (at Middleweight, late in his career), it was not his opponent, Joey Maxim, who beat him. It was the heat. The ref, Ruby Goldstein, got so exhausted that he had to be replaced by Ray Miller. Robinson remained sitting on his stool when the bell for Round 14 sounded. He was too tired to rise.

Another of Robinson's losses was to Jake LaMotta who always climbed the ring five to 13 3/4 pounds heavier than Robinson. Robinson avenged that loss many times than even Jake would care to count. In fact, Sugar RAy won their first fight, La Motta avenged that loss in the second, then Robinson took the third (in spite of going down in the 7th round) as well as the rest of the five meetings on record. Five: although LaMotta was often quoted as having said he met Robinson at least twice more than that.

Robinson also avenged his losses to Gene Fullmer, Randy Turpin and Carmen Basilio (Basilio won twice--the first and the fourth meeting-- was held to a draw once and lost to Robinson in the second encounter).
