Spence wants all the belts at 147. In the past, you have said this is a suitable reason for not going up. Don't change all of the sudden.

I have criticized GGG for winning the titles in the boardroom and not in the ring, not for fighting for vacant belts.

The bottom line is you are one of the posters that is quick to use the word duck, especially when an American champion is making a non American wait for a fight. so do the same thing when the American fighter is the one being avoided or made to wait.

No excuses. No explanations. No fake "ggg gets discriminated against" crap to justify it.
Thurman did the same thing. He was elevated from interim champ to full champ in a boardroom yet I have never seen you mention it ever.

Hmmmm, I wonder why that is..........

and for the record, I like Keith and have no issue whatsoever with him being elevated from interim to full champ, same as I have no issue with it happening to GGG. Thats how the rules work. If the champ wont fight you and either vacates or gets stripped, the interim champ gets elevated. Thats how it works......

To be honest I never understood anyone criticising GGG or any fighter for winning a vacant belt (WHATEVER THE FASHION) when it was painfully obvious that the guy who previously held the belt did not want to fight them. But like I said this Spence situation is going to and is already exposing guys on both sides.

The Spence situation is very similar. If Brook would just keep quiet until his injury heals, it wouldnt be such a bad look for him. But the fact that he is actively trying to get the Khan fight doesnt really paint him in the best light, because he is screwing around with Spences career. If he wants the Khan fight, then so be it, but then vacate so the Spence kid can get on with his career. Dont keep him idle just as your backup plan.....

The IBF only allows interim titles in the case of an injury to the sitting champ. Instead of making Spence wait until Brook gets better (or vacates), I wish they would have allowed Spence to go ahead and fight for an interim title. He could have already done that instead of being forced to sit for the past 6 months. We could have had Spence vs Berto for the interim strap, and then Brook has to fight the winner or he gets stripped

I explained that in part in my initial response. In addition to that, it's also because not one of his fans ever created a thread and lied about that to my knowledge. I respond to guys like you that conveniently forget that about GGG when slurping him off constantly. So I just point out the facts.

I know how it works. Its cool if you have no problem. Unfortunately, as you are aware, other GGG fans like to over exaggerate things. So I post some factual information to remind them not to do that.

When Canelo delayed fighting GGG I called it BS and said he was most likely going to skip Golovkin because Khan was not good prep for fighting Golovkin. He eventually dropped the belt and I slated him for abit but at least Golovkin would get his belt. I've never criticised Golovkin for winning vacant belts.

Now a similar situation arises with Brook, Spence is his mandatory and trying to build his career. The kid clearly has talent and is desperate to make his name, I want him to fight Brook but if Brook thinks it's not worth his time then let Spence fight for the vacant belt. Why would anyone who isn't a cheerleader think it's okay for Spence to wait for Brook to negotiate with Khan while holding the belt? ..... The IBF will not sanction a Khan fight so what's the point??

If being consistent means I don't like Brook in your eyes then that's fine by me but.....
Serious question though why are you Golovkin extremists such pha99ots??

Your hero went through the same thing but suddenly here you are supporting this BS. You have no integrity whatsoever.
its up to the ibf to decide how long brook has to make a decision, not anyone else. Its a big decision, moving up to 154 or staying at 147. Spence is a young kid so hes got plenty of time ahead of him, he can wait a few weeks longer. Hes lucky hes a mandatory at all to be honest with his garbage CV.

I want Brook to get in the ring with Spence.

But since he won't then I want him to hand over the belt so Spence can fight for it.

The sooner he has a world championship around his waist the sooner he becomes a more attractive option to the other top 147 pounders.
