The same guy that told Brook to forget about GGG and fight him instead is the guy that is hoping for Brook to vacate instead of fighting him? You're assuming the belt would be handed over to Spence on a silver platter like in the Canelo/GGG case. Errol would have to still fight for it with whoever is the next in line, I forgot the name of the guy. The only advantage for Spence, if Kell gives up the belt, is being able to fight a less dangerous opponent. Maybe that's what Spence is hoping for.
GTFO you clown! You totally ****** that out of your ass, I mean, there is literally not even an inch of foundation for that statement. Defaq is wrong with you?Comment

C'mon man, we both know Al is orchestrating everything. If Brook vacates, there's no way Al has Spence fight a Warren fighter when he could just keep everything in house.
No way Berto-Porter happens next if Brook vacates. And that's the hold up with Berto-Porter. Have to wait and see what Brook does.Comment

No he doesn't you clown. That's a pathetic spin attempt.
He's saying that he believes Brook has no intention of fighting Spence, hence he is saying he should drop the belt, not because he wants Spence to get an easy belt, but because he believes that is what is going to happen anyway and therefore it should just happen sooner rather than later.
You're either trying to deflect and spin his words or you just plain suck at reading comprehension. No one wants Spence to fight for a vacant title, everyone wants Brook, just that no one believes that Brook wants it, in fact it's pretty clear that he doesn't. At this point even if he ends up fighting Spence, we all already know it aint because he wanted to but rather he couldn't fight someone to help him 'legitimately' duck Spence (Khan, Pacquiao, Cotto, Canelo, etc etc).Comment

When you get a vacant title, the logical thing to do is to legitimize it by fighting a strong opponent immediately afterwards. Thurman was a paper champ until he beat Porter, a legit and dangerous opponent. Now he is a legit champion, just like GGG will be if he beats Jacobs.
Thurman will further cement his legitimacy if he beats Garcia in their scheduled unification bout.
Martins was a paper champ and tried to legitimize himself by fighting Joshua in England. It backfired of course coz Joshua has his ass gaping wide open right now.
Joshua will become legit once/if he beats Klitschko. Wilder was supposed to legitimize himself by KTFO Povetkin in Russia, but he was denied the opportunity by the cheating Russian, and therefore remains a paper champ...although Stirvirne was a pretty decent opponent.
Anyway I have provided better insight into the reasoning behind all of this mess.Comment

I agree, Brook should have given up the belt already because he seems, for whatever reason, reluctant to face Spence and seems ab it shaky on facing Khan at 147 too, which is just weird. So why not just move up to 154, announce it and free up that belt. It saves himself a lot of hassle.Comment

If you were Spence don't you think you would rather see Brook give up the belt and fight another Bundu-type mando? Why would you want a dangerous Brook and get only 25% of the purse? The same guy that told Brook to forget about GGG and fight him instead is the guy that is hoping for Brook to vacate instead of fighting him?
