You not a promoter never been a promoter and never will be , so how the heck can you say there is no such thing as rushing? When I'm pretty sure all promoters feel the same about there prospects.
Pacquiao at 22 he already fought and beat the Lineal champ at flyweight Sasakul who was at the time 28-0 and IBF bantamweight champion Ledwaba 33-1 who at the time, can't get any fights from other champs and his named top contenders because they were so afraid of him after Ledwaba easily beat a top bantamweight contender.

That's fair. But he's an undercard fighter so you're not really paying to see him fight. You will pay once he is a headliner which requires a B-side that can fill fans in the seats and put eyes on the TV.

pac was already lineal champ at 112 by age 20 and nearing another title shot 3 divisions up. yes he had been ko'd 3 times already but he also had major success. fighters these days just want to be average. they are too scared to be great in fear of being nothing.

pac also fought more often and not all of his fights were "money fights" to pad his bank account as floyd says. every fight that a pbc fighter has is a big money fight. pac was barely making any money when he fought those bums. thats the difference.

I agree Oscar won his first title I think at age 20 by 22 had already won titles in multiple weight classes and unified the belts beat about half a dozen world Champs at this kids same age. And a few months after turning 24 beat chavez for the title after moving up his 3rd weight class and had beaten the top fighter in all 3 of those weight classes. Floyd by age 21 was already world champ and beat hernandez a real champ. Tons of examples fighters who were put in real fights at a younger age. canelo fought Floyd #1 p4p in the world at 22 or 23 and by then he had already won multiple titles, unified titles and beaten the best at his weight.

Let him do his thing for a year/two while keeping up good comp and then if he think he can do it go after the elite.
Just stop with the took a mega risky fight BS first off if he was an underdog it was only a slight underdog this was a virtual 50/50 fight with 2 young unproven fighters. Most felt Jose shouldn't of been undefeated lost the cherry fight and was nothing more then a paper champ. Jose beat nobody and looked like crap against a journey man cherry the fight before last. Jose was the WORST belt holder by far and gone after because of it.
