How can Canelo fight someone who won't fight? It reminds me of Pac/Roach teasing Floyd "sign the contract" when there was no contract.

To quote you...the facts tell the story
The offer was over a year out from the fight, a flat price no PPV, now what is Chavez corpse Jnr getting, 6 million plus 20% ppv and he doesn't bring belts to the table, lets see how much over 15 million that adds up to after the fight, I will really laugh if chavez KOs canelo, that would be a classic, only a punchers chance but funnier things have happened

When talking about fighting a guy who won't fight, canelo was mando, asked a favor of GGG if he could have one fight to ACCLIMATISE to 160, then picks a WW with a glass chin, so obviously even at that early stage he had no intentions of fighting GGG, canelos a girl just like his cross dressing promotors, , a true Mexican that loves boxing shouldn't tolerate these con artists

GGG has yet to fight anyone remotely as good as Canelo and after 30 something fights GGG is finally facing a B level fighter. GGG fans really are GolovTARDS. You must be a welfare leech with such limited intellect

        Interesting paradoxical comment...
Let me explain logistics to your diminutive, embryonic brain and fallacious reasoning.

You cannot fight the best if they vacate their world title without fighting you.

The fight should of already happened by now and i blame CONela for our little debate. We would instead be talking about what a vicious knockout he received and the possibility of a rematch.

What you are suggesting is CONela rest on his laurels. He is 26, a little early for that.

Chavez jr is a joke, he's cashing out to get his ass beat by Canelo instead of cashing out to get his ass beat by GGG. He should be added to the list of fighters who call out GGG but don't actually want to fight him when the opportunity arises.

Your hero would fight him in a heartbeat though...

Who cares about Chavez Jr. anyway? I don't know what this thread is about. Chavez is not even a top 10 guy at 168 lbs. Martin Murray or Porky Medina would probably beat him up.

It's like Thurman moving to 160 to fight Rosado. Only thing Chavez is bringing to the table is his Mexican passport and the name of his father.

Golovkin vs. Jacobs - now that's a fight! The two best fighters in the division collide. It's #1 vs #2 at 160.

#3 at 154 vs #18 at 168 is like a circus fight or freak show.

Who GGG? Of course he would, it's an easy fight where he can make a lot of money. It makes financial sense for him, but it would still be a garbage fight though, not something I would be interested in watching...

They want to have a fight above 155 first, fighting the best guy at 160 before getting used to the weight class is ******ity.

He'll get used to the higher weight here, fight a much bigger man, do big numbers to strengthen his negotiation power and by all accounts the offer to Golovkin is still on the table for September.

Haha! Really hoping Chavez, Jr. knocked Alvarez out and looks like a giant. Will make for an interesting opponent for GGG finally.

GGG's entire career is based on easy fights.
