Kov's punching power is overrated. he couldn't put away a 50 yr old. He couldn't put away SMW Ward and Chilemba. he does not have any 1 punch KO's.


I actually think Jack beats Kova more times than not because he has a much tighter guard now and his body attack would ruin Kov in the later rounds. Kov has 0 inside game. Jack would be on him ripping his body. Kov was slowed down by Ward's pitiful body jabs.







If Degale and Ward happens in UK, 10/10 Degale wins wide on points. Ward does not have good boxing skills. He is 1 handed and he relies on illegal tactics. when you take away his illegal tactics. he doesn't even have a puncher's chance.

jack is moving up so maybe we see that but kov would put him away early, you say he has no inside game but thats not his style and no ones gave him problems on the inside yet either, his power is for real that right hand is vicious its just hard to catch bernard cleanly, even joe smith was missing like no tomorrow before he got him leaning out the ropes.

Ward is a SMW moving up to LHW who does not have a right hand. He has no power shots and his best skills are the roman greco clinch and the backwards marathon. He is someone that benefited from biased American judging system. His entire success is predicated on focusing on illegal tactics that other boxers are unprepared for; such as running into the clinch, hitting while holding and headbutts. all illegal. He's got a decent jab tho. that's it.


Kovalev is very very limited. 4 round fighter. can only fight long range.


The 2 SMW's that fought lastnight were more skilled. They had a variety of punches. Great defense on both sides and they both had stamina to go 12 hard rounds.
