When people talk and take long pauses, sometimes its deliberately done to show your social dominance! etc making people wait to hear what you have got to say! not everybody can do that. The interviewer seem in awe of Mayweather, and obviously you can tell by Mayweather's demeanor he intuitively picked up on this.............

Floyd is ok mentally, but he's carefully wording his statements and is not good at it yet. Some have even accused ***** of doing that since he's not being candid most of the time. Mayweather is doing the same, he hasn't been candid. Every word out of his mouth is for the boxing politics game. It's not about intelligence. Floyd thinks he's a boss now but has some things to learn.

Even if he didn't take much punishment in the ring. He was still taking punches, even just jabs for 49 fights + all the amateur bouts and sparring.

In the context of boxing he didn't take much punishment but he still took a million times more punishment than your average guy who hasn't been in a ring does and more than the human body is designed to
