If Crawford becomes undisputed at 140

If Crawford successfully unifies the division and becomes undisputed, does that automatically make him a hall of famer and one of the top 140 pounders of all time? I surely do think so. I think it would go.

    Aaron Pryor
    Terence Crawford
    Julio Ceasar Chavez Sr
    Kostya Tszyu
    Barney Ross

Not even close. Again weak ass opposition, he wouldn't be. Unifying with no names isn't something to be proud of.

Absolutely, beating Dulorme, Postol and Mandingo/Burns again gets you into the HOF.

Why do you disagree based off Crawford's footwork, defense, and switch hitting. He would have a decent chance against Julio, Cervantes, and Ross. He is technically a better boxer than the other five. Only person I see at 140 who could possibly give him fits is Looche.

A GGG fan like you can't say that.

Crawford is already in his 2nd division, and he's not pushing 35

Floyd never became undisputed at 140. And you could argue Crawford has beaten better competition at 140 compared to when Floyd was king of that weight class.

Did I say GGG is going to be in the HOF? Noy yet. But once he beats Canelo, Saunders and some 154 who moved up to 160 fight him would be.

He asked a hypothetical question to whether or not being an undisputed champion in the weakest division in boxing gets him in the HOF alone.

Beating them won't do it ...not by a looong shot.

It's not about winning all these paper titles, it's about who you beat. Crawford has 1 credible win on his resume and that's Postol. Floyd was only at 140 for 2 or 3 fights I believe. These titles look good on paper, but who is he winning them against?

There's absolutely no comparison between Mayweather and Crawford, in terms of resume or skill. Different caliber of fighters.
