He's referring to the weight risk for Chavez right?

Let's not forget, it's impossible for Chavez to win on points

Canelo should've faced Chavez at 168 then if he wants to call this a "risk". .hell even making 168 will be tough for Chavez. at 164 we're talking about a walking corpse here. Canelo gets to beef up eating ribs and french fries. .expect a highlight reel KO.

People criticising the catchweight are the same morons that defended Golovkin wanting a 164 catchweight for Ward. Keep exposing yourselves as the flip flopping nuthuggers you are.

This ginger is so spoiled and has become such a diva. I know it won't happen but I hope Jr lays off the weed and whoops Canelo's a$$.
He already said he'll fight Golovkin at 160, he sent a $15 million offer for a fight with Golovkin at 160. The weight isn't an issue, he gave in to Golovkins demands on weight. ******.

If Chavez/Canelo fight end up even or close you see the rematch in the fall , that will stop the fight with GGG still May 2018??

it is worth the risk because Chavez is not a top opponent and will likely be compromised by the weight

the weight is not so important, when the opponent is not too much of a threat..... just like how Golovkin needed a catchweight for Ward but was willing to fight anyone else at 168

Canelo is likely ready for middleweight - or close - so fighting a weight compromised Chavez a few pounds north aint gonna matter

Jacobs/Saunders at 160 would be much more difficult for Canelo who will have every advantage over Chavez except rehydration weight, which will make no difference to the outcome
