Nah I'm not having it, Canelo-GGG is the biggest fight in boxing, Canelo will also make far more than he has ever made being the A-side. When has anyone ever taken a flat fee in a fight of this magnitude??

Chavez Jr hasn't fought below 168 since he faced Sergio Martinez in 2012 so how is he going to make 164.5 healthily? ..... I'm not saying the fight should happen at 168 but I am saying this fight shouldn't happen at all.

Canelo already had a circus fight against Khan, said his body wasn't ready for 160 but he's okay fighting at 164.5 now all of a sudden?

Come on man, I don't like the GGG fan club but to defend this move is low. Canelo should be facing a quality 160lber not someone who is washed up and will be dead at the scales in all likelihood. No fan of boxing should support this fight, if your mexican I might give you a pass, if not shame on you.

Kills himself to make 155 yet made 154 his last fight? and has NEVER fought about 155? and stop with fairy tales about what you think he re hydrates to. GGG's camp said days before the Cotto fight they had no problems going down to catchweight if Canelo won. Been on record for years begging floyd for a fight at 154 and GGG out his own mouth said he's a small middleweight and can make 154 easy. That is until Canelo won and they killed the fight last year by demanding it ONLY at 160 and wouldn't negotiate weight a single pound hoping the purse bid would save them and it backfired. And the frauds demanded a catchweight with Ward after agreeing to fight others at 168. Face it GGG just always has a new excuse for why he turns down big fights. While Canelo, Ward and others don't seem to have the same problems making fights. Lets see who is the one coward who is the common denominator? K2 needs to be fired and replaced with a real promoter who can make these fights.

GGG just fought Brook a welterweight and before that a bum nobody Wade who was on house arrest and got the nerve to say Canelo should be facing quality 160lers when he has NEVER weighed 160lbs in a fight and GGG has been hiding out fighting bums at 160 for like a decade. Stop I can't take you serious. GGG should of moved up or down for better fights and the fact he didn't and is getting old where he needs to beg for a payday is his fault not Canelo's. Canelo is only 26 and has already fought way more quality opponents then GGG and moved up and down in weight to make big fights. Call me when GGG does the same.

Remember these guys are business men I'm a fighter not a business man I just want to fight. Now I won't fight unless you pay me 1 billion zillion dollars I don't care if you offer me 3X more then my career payday. GGG fighting Jacobs when both them guys combined making less then what Chavez just signed to fight Canelo. Thank god Chavez is not a business man too. LMAO

Does it matter? The people who are purchasing the PPV won't even give a ****. The fight was a circus to begin with, what difference is another .5lbs gonna make?

Good for Chavez Jr, I hope this makes him take his training very serious this could be a massive moment for him to turn around his career I'll be rooting for him hope he isn't damaging his body too much going down to 165, think he should also have a tune up from now and May.

Is it 6 mil? That's more than a lot of people got to fight Mayweather.

Shut it you lying ****head. First, there is no contract, negotiations are still ongoing. And second Canelo won't fight GGG till Sept at the earliest, whatever he does.
