If Ward can't get $5 million guarantee, he might as well go out on top! Cotto is getting more than double, and he's coming off a loss, and he's fighting lesser competition! Roc Nation needs to PAY THE MAN!

The amount of idiots on this site who claim Ward is scared is not surprising at all. Any person sitting behind a keyboard calling a professional fighter a coward is clearly projecting and has most likely never even had an amateur fight.

          Ward wants more money.
The financial terms of the rematch were set beforehand. By who? ROC-Nation?

How do these contracts even work? Any decent contract is signed by all interested parties, or there are multiple contracts, plus there are clearly defined penalty clauses such as a fine for compliance failure. After all these years boxing promoters can't come up with a universal contract or set of clauses for a rematch fight? Unbelievable.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but a purse bid determines who going to promote the card and what the total purse will be, the split can be negotiated.

none of that matters since the russian coward and his promoter ducked the purse bid...... Im sure stevensons left hand power had a lot to do with it as well.....

kovalev offered stevenson 50-50 after pulling out of the purse bid. the purse bid was for 50-50. how is that ducking? please answer with something that makes sense instead of making up hypotheticals like "but they could have made more money if haymon had won" since you know kovalev couldn't take the fight if haymon won. also why did kovlev offer the same 50-50 split to stevenson if he was ducking? also another question why was stevenson willing to accept 50-50 before but not now?

You're wasting your time with this spinning bullshit.

Stevenson used Kovalev's HBO contract to duck out of fighting him 3 times and everybody knows it.

It's why Mayweather never gave Khan a fight after Khan was being an irritating ****. Underhanded tactics from Kov, he knows he'll get schooled again...his liver is probably permanently damaged and he's looking for easy fights.
sorry but this is your, and only your, assumption.
gossip on your part and an awful biased post.

Kafkod have some integrity. Kov/Duva walked away from the fight in 2015. They asked to be the mando, got it, then changed walked away when it became obvious that Duva didn't have enough money to win the purse bid and control the fight venue and the network.
