Wouldn't hold your breath, tbh. This acct is usually pretty legit. Not saying it's going to happen but supposedly there are talks.
Not sure how its possible, but Ive heard from a good source that Errol Spence is negotiating a deal with Top Rank #boxing @ErrolSpenceJr

Also saw this tweet today. She's usually pretty legit
Word on the curb is there are a few fighters out there seeking promoters in 2017. They want to be active and grow their careers. 🐸☕️ #boxing

For this to have any merit, you've got to fathom that someone in Errol Spence's camp (Haymon, his trainer, Derrick James, and his father are the only ones ever mentioned in Spence's camp, and I doubt that Spence Sr is pushing a ship jump) is making the overture, which is much.
Last time the account being mentioned put out an accurate story that beat the general press?Comment

It's the IBF keeping Spence inactive right now. Brook gets time to heal and Spence isn't going to risk the mandatory spotComment

It would be great for the sport if guys started to be more active. Most fighters will never improve if they stay on a 2 fights a year/eighteen months schedule. It just won't happen. This is what old timers talk about when they talk about old time fighters having much greater craft than the modern generation. They fought all the time and had vastly greater experience and ring IQ.
Obviously fighting every two weeks isn't good for fighters career longevity, but fighting every 6-9 months isn't good for them either. And what's worse, the whole sport suffers from this too.
I don't think fighters fleeing the sinking PBC ship is going to fix this. Top Rank aren't any better. But the PBC model dying is a huge positive. A serious opponent every two years and huge paydays for fighting nobodies is a cancer for the sport. The end of PBC won't pull the sport out of this depression it's in, but it's a good start.Comment

Should be interesting. I just wanna see Spence be more active.
Eventually he'll be on HBO and eventually Max Kellerman will verbally suck him off.Comment

But top rank is kind of a dead end.. Bob will try to match him with top rank guys itself until they run out of options then they do a sequel and trilogy of those pointless fights..
I don't think Manny would fight him because he has no title, Bradley is talkin about retirement and waiting until the end of his contract, Crawford would easily need another year to move up and get used to fighting at 147..
I cannot say it's a bad move either because young guys like Spence need to fight more often and the whole 2 fights a year trend with PBC is killing their peak careerComment

Man, reading these posts I was just like "Oh yeah, Vargas. Been a minute since I've seen that kid... who did he fight last, does he still have the title?" and I went over to Boxrec and saw he fought Manny Pacquiao.
Not only did I not watch the fight, I forgot it was ever made.
