Yep. I thought Pacquiao was gonna get killed in the press for taking that Horn fight. But now everybody is cool with it because it's a "world tour", "Pacquiao is traveling the world like a true WORLD champion" "I don't mind the fight because it's gonna be on free TV" (HBO isn't free and they haven't even confirmed they'll buy the fight) It's amazing how the media has bought into this BS

Fighters should be fighting 4 times a year. The problem these days are the fighters all want a million+ per fight. I'm not only talking about PBC fighters, I'm including any fighter that has good promotional backing.

If fighters fought more often by asking for less money, they would build momentum, not only for themselves, but earn fans and bring new fans into the sport. That will bring more money into the sport and into their pockets.
