The first incident I can forgive but the second one not so much he's an idiot, he couldn't even wait atleast a year after a seriously bad injury that could have been fatal.

Magomed Abdusalamov was over a million dollars in debt after his hospital stay due to a brain bleed. Nick Blackwell has no debt arising out of the time he spent in an NHS hospital for the same reason. That's a pretty big fucking difference.

i had no idea he went back to sparring. that's monumentally ******, an anybody involved should be out of boxing for life. i can't flag blackwell all that much for not understanding the situation he's in. obviously he made a dumb call trying to spar. but the guy is young, head injured, and a fighter. there's a reason these guys are supposed to have management and comissions looking out for their wellbeing. they don't have great judgement. the trainer who oversaw blackwell sparring should be removed from boxing permanently. i don't even want him teaching kids the basics. he's not fit for the responsiblity of training boxers and being in charge of their wellbeing. monumentally ******.
