I believe he could of made a comeback, if he would of waited for 2 years! the brain has the slowest rate of healing of all organ tissues within the body. You're skin cells repair the fastest, then muscle, then bone and finally the Brain! Nick Blackwell was a very physically fit guy, and i believe he has mistaken this for being 100% recovered! it was his bravery and stubbornness that forced him to return to the ring! as a man, we all need a identity/purpose! Nick Blackwell's purpose was to be a fighter, and sometimes what you love can destroy you.

I have a feeling he will make a recovery once again, to the point where he was at before! it will just take longer....
