Korobov hasn't fought enough good opposition to be punch drunk. He's just one of those guys whose amateur style doesn't translate well to the pros. A good boxer, but missing the elements required to be an elite pro.

People often criticise fighters for being one-dimensional, but it's better to have one great dimension than be a multi-dimensional non-entity like Korobov.

I do think Brook showed that with good enough footwork you can turn him and catch him from angles coming in. But that's hard to sustain when he just keeps coming.
Yeah that is true about Brook. But id say even though Brook was a weight or two above his best, i think he was maybe physically stronger than Jacobs. He took some big shots even before he put some punches together on GGG. Shots im not sure Jacobs would have taken

I just watched Jacobs Mora and Mora floored Jacobs with the first punch he put on the chin. Sergio Mora. Jacobs just doesnt have that toughness you need to be an elite fighter imo. And i think most of us would agree you need to be elite to beat GG at 160

Agreed. GGG by KO. Korobov a good fight for the winner OR loser of this fight. Still want to see GGG vs Canelo.

Sorry Korobov, but if GGG beats Jacobs in March he will more than likely get his IBF Mando out of the way in June before Canelo in September.

That could have been you, but you chose to fight 8 rounders and not do **** for two years after the Lee loss. I think you should work yourself up the rankings and not worry about GGG.

2018 might be the year you win a title after GGG vacates and moves to 168

Who's his manager? Is it Klimas? I know he has trouble getting licensed in NY because of some congenital brain condition they say he has. But that hasn't been an obstacle to him fighting elsewhere.

              Allow me to translate.

"Since getting smoked by Andy Lee, I haven't been able to make myself relevant.
And it doesn't help that that same Andy Lee went tooth and nail with Quillen who
in turn got bumrushed by Jacobs, who is fighting Golovkin instead of me. So, I am gonna express my hopes Golovkin wins hoping he will see this and give me a chance to make some money. And, I'll bring up an amateur match that has nothing to do with anything now."
