Lol Golovkin defeated 6 wolrd champion in his whole boxing career.

Jacobs defeated one as far as I know.

I know you think he has a better resume because he beat Quillen but how do we know Quillin is better than the Geale or Murrays of the world, I just don't know that.

it is a stretch to suggest that Jacobs has a better resume than Golovkin

but not much of a stretch

the fact that we are having that conversation must be terribly disappointing

FACT: Golovkin (if he is as good as claimed) should have a MUCH better resume to Jacobs..... we should not even be discussing it

Because Lemieux had a clear problem, stamina, which he then fixed. Stamina is something you can fix. A weak chin is much harder to fix so it's not the same. If you told me Danny had eliminated the reason he got KO'd early in his career, the same way Lemieux has, then it's not relevant anymore. But if he has the same weakness that got him KO'd before, it is still relevant. See the difference?

With that said Danny's grandmother did die, may she RIP, before his fight, and Pirog hit him with perfect shots. I also think the Mora KD was just him walking into a shot. So I do think Jacobs is a top fighter and #2 in the middleweight division. But are chin and stamina different? Yes.

Abel Sanchez admitted that Jacobs has much better ability, intelligence, and skills, than the limited puncher Lemieux.

He also admitted that Golovkin knows his opponents suck.
