This was the first I heard of it. And then Able, who is an idiot I agree, saying they never asked for 164 at all. It's all he said she said. Dawson did say about 170 on the 24/7. The road to Ward Dawson programme, before he lost and needed excuses that they originally asked for 170 and were told it had to be 168 an Oakland or nothing. But all I'm saying is people are on here daily, saying GGG has to go up a weight or even two, or he's a coward ect. But in reality, like all these guys, all he's actually guilty of is fighting at a weight he's easy at, and when the best guy a weight up is mentioned, we're told maybe a catchweight was floated. Which makes him the same as Ward and Canelo. Now he's fighting the other best fighter in his own division, which is just what Ward recently did with Kovalev, and it's still he's a coward If he doesn't go up one or two weights now. It's biased and hypocrital. These are the facts. Then we get into he said she said. Who asked for what in negotiating ect, but none of us know, and the coward label is ridiculous. He holds most of the belts at his weight, and although I wouldn't mind him to fight say Degale at some point, with or without a catchweight, the hate he gets on here is out of proportion. Able I can understand, but the fight coming up, although Jacobs is about to become a bum that lost to Pirog and had cancer, the fact is that he's a good athletic puncher. A pretty dynamic fighter and the winner deserves credit.

you see what you want to see, like everyone else
Jacobs is a very-good fighter, so if Golovkin beats him that will be a very-good win
Dawson, at 168, was still a good fighter..... so that was still a good win
had that fight been held at 175, it would have been an excellent win..... but, it is what it is
picking 1 fight, out of context, will not help you evaluate anything..... so Ward fought Dawson at 168, SO WHAT?
Ward has fought a number of world-class opponents..... but Golovkin has not, he actually appears to be avoiding genuine world-class opposition..... so I still think that the following quote is true.....
is the question..... do I think that the guy who ran around for FOUR YEARS saying he can beat "anyone from 154-168" should actually attempt to live up to his hype, especially if there are no good opponents at middleweight..... ?
..... the answer is an emphatic, YES !!

Although middleweight isn't the greatest division in boxing I can't think who Golovkin has avoided there.Im not sure you can truly say that we know who is at fault with why some of these fights haven't happened. I don't think you can really be called a ducker for not fighting guys a weight above you. Especially the guy who's clearly the best at the weight when your particularly big at your own weight. I see the Dawson fight as one that wasn't nearly as good as it could've been because Ward wouldn't make the fight halfway for Chad who really looked a shadow that night and was never the same again. So I see the parallel In what we're told Ward asked of Dawson according to Chad and what Golovkin asked of Ward according to Andre. But who knows what will happen after Jacobs? Would I see Golovkin as a ducker for now not jumping two weights to meet the Kovalev Ward rematch winner? No. But thats what we hear on here all the time. I think it's unfair. Beat the best men at your weight, anything else is a bonus.
honestly, you're just another golov-clown
who fkn cares about LHW
stop being a ****
Mr " anyone from 154-168 " has refused MULTIPLE fights outside 160, and he totally refused to drop even 1 pound for Canelo..... so stop mentioning 175, NOBODY thinks that Golovkin would/should jump to LHW
stop equating Golovkin ducking Ward at 168, with Golovkin refusing to consider fighting Ward at 175
* Golovkin will never fight at LHW, despite their bullshht
* Golovkin will never fight Ward, at ANY weight
and yep, despite the fact that Golovkin is a middleweight, he blatantly ducked Andre Ward at 168.....
1) because he ran around for FOUR YEARS saying that he can "beat anyone from 154-168"
2) because he mentioned fighting Froch, Chavez, Hopkins, Degale, Chudinov, and Ramirez..... ALL at 168
3) because Ward obviously could not make 164 without being compromised, and Golovkin was well-aware of that fact
