What do you have to support this argument, Saul was guaranteed 5mil plus PPV upside against FMJ and walked away with 12mil.I think the logic behind team Golovkin is that it could potentially generate 1.5 mil+ ppv and
Huge gate numbers and 15 mil could be peanuts...and because GGG refuses to move up this is going to be his biggest payday of his career. Also it iz not as if Golovkin cant sell out an arena or draw decent ppv numbers so thats kind of leverage for them.
Please explain to us how GGG will make more than 15mil. Last I checked FMJ doesn't have $50 seats so we know this fight you speak of won't outsell the gate or PPVs sales.Comment

are you comparing the two? GGG has fans; Jacobs really doesn't have any.
Obviously Canelo should get a significantly higher share, but not sure if a flat fee of 15 on a fight that will surely generate over 100 mil in revenue is a fair offereitherComment

Ggg fighting Jacobs next u moron. What punching bag is canelo fighting next?Does anyone really give a **** about this fight anymore? A bum beater who's afraid to move up in weight, doesn't want to take 15 f'n million dollars, when he's fought NO ONE, so he's sat around waiting on Canelo like a little boy waiting for his daddy and fighting nobodies in the process. Yet another fighter who's all talk...154-168...yeah, more like 160, 164, 166...NOTHING under 160 has ever been discussed, except Floyd...as if any of you would give Floyd credit for beating him at 154.Comment

considering you havent the slightest idea what other terms or conditions were in the offer that you so confidently think should have been accepted, I think you've made it quite clear that yes indeed you are dumb.I'm not too dumb to realize that GGG is pricing himself out. The man turned down 15 mil without batting an eye. That don't have sh.it to do with Chavez Jr or the MW limit. But your obviously too dumb to realize that. But someone like Stevonson turns down a sh.tty offer for Kovalev and people spend the next 3 years killing him. I'm not dumb I can see the double standard just fine thanks.
Was there language limiting GGG revenue in a rematch? Was there language giving Golden Boy an escape clause? (considering that their offer to Chavez had a rematch clause, its pretty obvious that their GGG offer had an escape clause)
So without knowing the first thing about what other issues there might be with the "offer", you have concluded that it should already have been accepted, a year away from the fight?
And you have the nerve to state that you aren't dumb???

after Jacobs fight he will have an IBF mando due, so if he cant get Saunders I would assume he will take care of that mando before Canelo....Comment

I dont know that they will. But thats not the point. They would rather take their chances with a lower guarantee but a split of the revenue. What do you have to support this argument, Saul was guaranteed 5mil plus PPV upside against FMJ and walked away with 12mil.

Nothing wrong with them believing in the strength of the event. And if Golden Boy didnt believe there was $15 million (or more) available, they wouldnt have offered it. (although none of us know what other details were in the offer like rematch financials, etc)
Bottom line is with a percentage split, maybe GGG makes more, maybe he makes less. Who knows. But these types of fights pretty much NEVER get made with flat-fee purses and you know it....Comment
