Salido probably did duck the rematch but this talk about crazy money is ludicrous....he's a bigger draw than Lomachenko and the only reason he has gotten paid less is that HBO bid against themselves in hopes of developing Lomachenko into Pacquiao's B-side down the road(foolish bet, just like they once hoped to make Ward-Kovalev a succesful PPV)...

Salido doesn't seem to have the motivation for this fight, he's older, more shopworn than before and will not make more money than in a rematch against Vargas...it's true that the rematch only serves Loma and does nothing for him other than a good payday that he could probably get in a more winnable fight for him.He deserves a cash out before a sure fire loss tbh.

Hopefully they can get Jezreel Corrales for March.
Most of the top guy are busy.
We will have to see if Corrales wants to make a quick turnaround. If he gets offered good money I'm sure he will.

If not then get Jason Sosa, even though Sosa can't technically unify, it's better than an inactive Gamboa at this point.

Well-put. I can't imagine Salido has a lot of fights left, having just been in three 12 round wars in a row. It may be called a "duck", but it's not like Salido owes anyone anything at this point. I don't even like the guy, I think he's a dirty mutherfuker, but at the same time I have a lot of respect for him getting in there with everyone and always coming to fight. If he's going after the money now, he's earned that right and doesn't need to be shamed for it.

Please Bob Arum let's be real you offer Salido peanuts to fight a rematch to a guy who he already beat. Pay the guy you have the $$$ for it enough with the lies, Arum's headlines for 2017 "he's scared he priced himself out" for every fight when it comes to his recycling program at Top Rank.

No need for Lomochenko-Salido rematch, we all know Lomo destroys a older worn out to the max Salido.

Bobby do us all a favor make Pacquiao-Crawford and Lomochenko-Garcia and not late in the year.

Fuk Salido, he should just take what he can get dude failed to make weight in the first fight and was fighting dirty. Lomachenko even went on with the fight, Salido is just another scummy fighter like the Toy Cobb version in boxing.

this rematch should have been made long ago.

                There's that peasant mentality again.

Can't blame him. The guy is getting peanuts compared to running, boring, clinching clowns. He's getting mere $200k-$300K. Oscar is not taking good care of his fighters, except the top ones.

If it quacks and walks like a duck, it's probably a duck. Hopefully Salido mans up and fights Loma

Loma should have re matched him when it mattered...
