Close fight but neither guy one it by 2 points IMO.114-113 was really the only legit score and it goes to Hatton simply because of the first rd KD.It was mostly an easy fight to score with most rounds pretty clear cut who won them even to the casual fan.

The only thing this fight proved to me is Hatton has trouble with skilled boxers at 147.

I think Hatton was outboxed for the majority of the fight. The punches landed by Callazo were cleaner and Hatton was landing much of anything in the last few rounds of the fight. I think a draw would hevae been a good decision in that fight. Either that, or Callazo should have won. I dont think for a second Hatton should have been 3 points ahead on the cards.

you can't have a draw in a 12 rounds fight with only one knockdown. you had Hatton losing then, which is fine if you did, but stop making general assertions without scoring each and every round and justifying it

when u r the challenger, imo, u r supposed to take the belt from the champion. If anything Collazo was more accurate and landed the cleaner shots. This reminds me of Hopkins/Taylor. IMO Taylor still hasnt done enough to take Hopkins belt from him.

Ok, point one - what is all this "take the title from the champ" bull****. Boxing is scored on a round by round basis and then you add them all up to see who won.

In that way Taylor beat Hopkins twice, even though Hopkins finished stronger.

Having said this I scored the fight 114-113 Collazo. There you go, a Brit scored it as a loss for Hatton, although I thought 7 and 11(not sure exactly) were vv close rounds that I both gave to Collazo. You could easily have scored them the other way and made it 114-113 Hatton or 115-112 Hatton.

Why are you running around in every thread defending Hatton? Is it so far fetched for you to beleive that he may have lost the fight? All Im saying is that I dont think that Hatton won the fight. It was close, but if anyone should have walked away as a WINNER, it should have been Calazo.
