    Mikey Garcia had what he considers an encouraging conversation recently with Oscar De La Hoya. When Garcia informed De La Hoya he wants to fight Jorge Linares later this year, De La Hoya, whose company promotes Linares, didn't hesitate to tell Garcia that's a fight "The Golden Boy" wants to make. If Garcia (35-0, 29 KOs) can overcome Montenegro's Dejan Zlaticanin (22-0, 15 KOs) in their fight for Zlaticanin's WBC world lightweight January 28 in Las Vegas, a Garcia-Linares clash would be an intriguing lightweight championship unification fight.

          Mikey is a very solid boxer..I don't think anyone at 135 can beat him..Loma maybe, but he is not there yet.

              Mikey Garcia vs. Adrien Broner @ 140! This is the easier fight to make, and I bet Ring Star would make it happen!

                          Awesome. Mikey has been pretty vocal about wanting to fight top guys. Hope he follows through as I've been a big believer in the guy for a long while now.

                              Mikey is a very interesting fighter, he has good skills and a not perfect but good defense, and he has 2 EXTRAORDINARIES tools:

                              Timing and power.

                              This guy have one punch K.O kinda of power.
